One Perfect Day in Hudson: A Dog-Friendly Haven in Upstate New York
EXPLORE THE outdoor SCULPTURE & architecture PARK AT Art Omi
After a two-hour car ride, you’ll want to stretch your legs (whether you have two or four). Start your day 15 minutes outside of Hudson, in Ghent, visiting Art Omi. It’s an arts center that spreads across 120 acres, with 60 works currently on view in the landscape. Art pieces are added or exchanged each year to make sure you have a unique visit. Art Omi relies on community support, so please consider donating ($15 per person is the suggested donation) and register in advance to ensure you have the best visit possible. Dog owners are required to register their pups onsite at the visitors center upon arrival and reminded to please keep them on leash throughout the visit.
